For us sustainability is important, whether it is ecological, enocomical or socio-cultural. We are strongly committed to sustainability and in addition to our internal Sustainability Program, we also benefit from external audit and national and international certification programs. Our mother company (Finska Skärgårdskompaniet Oy Ab) has through its branch ta the Finnish Gulf (Venetaxi.com) already been nationally and internationally certified in 2021. We proudly continue our work with the example set by the first internationall ecologically sustainability certified boat taxi operator in Finland. Our aim is to renew this certification for Venetaxi.com in 2026. This year we focus on certifying the Sustainaibility Program of Lohja Lake Travels.

In 2025 our goals are to:
- Reduce fuel consumption by 10 % compared to 2024
- Undergo successful external international sustainability audit
- Reach the Good Travel Seal certificate at the highest level 3/3
- Be the most environmentally friendly transport service provider at Lake Lohja
- Compensate 50 % of all our emissions
Our goal for 2030 is to be the first completely carbon neutral boat taxi operator in Finland.
