Lohja Lake Travels is a family company specialized in lake tourism. We arrange services for tourists all year around. Our home base and harbour is situated in Lylyinen, Lohja. During the summer we offer charter transportation and taxi boat services with our vessel m/v Lysti at Lake Lohja and adjacent navigable waterways. During the winter we take advantage of the ice on Lake Lohja and for spring and autumn we offer program services along the shores of Lake Lohja.

Pop-up nonstop Aurlahti – Ollisaari in July 2026

M/v Lysti tries pop-up nonstop traffic between Aurlahti and Ollisaari on Wednesdays and Sundays. Pop-up nonstop trafic means that the vessel is waiting in Aurlahti/Ollisaari during the times below.
This is not scheduled traffic.

Dogs are welcome onboard m/v Lysti. Dogs travel outside at the responsibility of their owners.

Prices and pre-booking

You can hop onboard without pre-booking. However, if you wish to secure a certain departure time and make sure you fit onboard, you are welcome to book in advance. Pre-booking is made at its latest the previous day by e-mail: lohja@venetaxi.com or by telephone on the same day +358440811020 (also WhatsApp and SMS). Maximum allowance is 12 passengers at a time.

Payment is handled by debit or credit card onsite (Visa/Mastercard/American Express).

Babies travel for free. VAT 13,5 % is included in prices.

Lake cruises

Lake Lohja is once again open for everyone! In earlier days, scheduled route traffic at Lake Lohja was an important complement to travel services, especially as the road network was not as developped as it is now. Today, the main focus on Lake Lohja is recreation, although several professional fishermen also benefit from Southern Finland’s Uusimaa region’s largest lake.

M/v Lysti can be privately booked for individual or group use. We provide tailored private cruises for both private persons and companies. In addition we offer pop-up cruise days on selected dates. These cruises are open for everyone without prior booking. For example we sail on pop-up cruise days between Aurlahti beach in central Lohja and Ollisaari island recreational area. You can get acquainted with our cruise operationse here. We strive to keep the price levels moderate. In addition, we offer fixed prices on some of the most frequent routes during the summer season. If nothing else is stated, the price is for the entire boat, regardless whether there are one or 12 passengers onboard. You can see our pricing here: Lysti’s price list.

Theme cruises 2026

During the summer season 1 June to 31 August 2025 we cater theme cruises by pre-booking.
Additional information concerning the cruises as well as prices and booking info will be updated in mid-May!

• Welfare cruise with therapeutic relaxation (4-9 participants)
• Lake Lohja berry wine cruise (4-12 participants)
• Lake Lohja and floating restaurant Kaljaasi (4-12 participants)

Program services

We offer a variety of program services of which some we produce ourselves, whereas others are offered by our brilliant partners. Program services can be combined with our transportation services (lake cruises) or be booked separately. We operate in different areas around Lake Lohja, but You can also book us home or to your company’s/association’s premises. Most services can be provided both inside and outside.

We offer among others the following services:

• Live music (trubadour/duet/orchestra)
• Runway Plan Escape Room in the nature and on Lake Lohja (2-12 person groups)*
• Catering services (min. 4 persons)
• Surviving in the wildlife -training** (4-8 person groups)
  

* At the moment being, Escape Room is only available in Finnish – we strive to have an English translation available soon!
** Can only be provided outdoors in an area, where open fire is allowed.
